Each unit of study considers the child’s stage of development. Bible stories are the basis for a wholesome healthy attitude, and each class has a Bible story every day. Our goal is to help every child develop his/her full potential spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, and socially.

Social skills provide many experiences to assist your child in understanding himself, others, the world around him and God’s love for all. The 2’s, 3’s, and 4’s spend 30 minutes on the outside and/or indoor playground each day. The younger classes spend 30 minutes in indoor play each day.

Music and rhythm give time for creativity, self-expression and a release of emotions. Confidence is gained through singing with the group. We have a full-time music teacher so each class has at least 15 minutes of music every day. We also have all of the classes attend Chapel each morning for 10 minutes of group singing, and singing on the stage. At the end of the year, a music program is held where each class sings on stage.

Art, in various mediums, gives satisfaction by manipulation, blending of colors and a wonder of beauty.

Math begins an awareness of numbers and recognition of basic geometric shapes developed through songs, games, planned play and educational equipment

Science is learned by exploration, discovery and developing an awareness of the physical properties of the creation around the child.

The indoor play area encourages role-play and helps the child further his/her own identity and learn responsibility.

Lunch and snack times provide a place for social development and conversation. A rest time with relaxing music and stories is welcome after a busy morning. The l’s, 2’s. and 3’s rest after lunch each day.
